The Betsy Ross Flag was never ever the flag of slavery. There was no such thing as a flag that stood for slavery and those who argue there was are simply wrong. There was a flag of the Confederacy which stood for the states and their people, “Rebels” that left the union of America. It’s called “The Rebel Flag” and it stands for people who rebeled against authority.

All done 1861 to 1865 to protect black people and to stop enslaving them in America. Rush Limbaugh argued Kaepernick’s opposition to Nike’s footwear was proof Kaepernick’s kneeling was not about alleged police brutality but animosity toward the American flag. Rush is correct. Kaepernick hates America and all that America stands for. He belongs out of America. Nobody wants anti-American Kaepernick on their team, certainly not as starting quarterback.
