She spoke to a juror. What she said was never reported but for speaking as such indeed speech itself seems to be a fundamental right for the existence of a free culture such as the United States is supposed to be, a judge sent her to the lock-up in a full prison for 30 days. that could be Claire Risoldi’s ticket to a huge win in Federal Court.
Risoldi is in the general population in the women’s wing of the prison.
This is the second time Risoldi has been incarcerated in Bucks County prison; the first occurred in 2016 when she was jailed for five days after she was arrested on witness intimidation charges, which eventually were dropped.
Risoldi surrendered to authorities two weeks after losing her final appeal to have the contempt finding thrown out. A U.S. District Court judge last month denied her petition to overturn the contempt finding, which was upheld on appeal in state court. Remember, the arrest, conviction and sentencing are issues based upon Risoldi engaging in speech that was prohibited by a Federal Judge, a prohibition against her speaking which prohibition is itself in violation of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution which reads: “Congress shall make no law …… abridging the freedom of speech.” that’s amazingly clear language.
Congress makes the laws. They are prohibited from making a law “abridging” the freedom of speech. That being the case, why was Claire Risoldi told to not speak?
Chester County Senior Judge Thomas Gavin, who oversaw the fraud case after all Bucks County judges recused themselves, held Risoldi in contempt in June 2016 for using the subpoena process to skirt a court order barring her from contacting prosecution witnesses in her insurance fraud case. The Court acted in violation of the Constitution. Risoldi has a big payday coming for such a fundamental violation of the laws of America. ….. Good.
Risoldi is entitled to a be judged by a jury of her peers in a local court which of course means by local judges yet every judge in her local court refused him or herself. that should have been the end of it. Game, Set, Match so to speak.
But…. Yes, there’s a But. A big one. The Judges are most likely involved. But, ..but, … but… aren’t judges supposed to judge everything about a case including their own participation in a legal fraud on the people and the victim, Claire Risoldi?? That’s probably what’s going on behind the scenes here. Probably… Not certainly, but, but, but…..
