His theories rest as do many other philosophers on the selection of mates to provide children. Anyone who has the smallest bit of human experience knows individuals fall in love with individuals. It’s not groups which procreate, it’s individuals. Leave aside the criminals and the dysfunctionals, men and women fall in love with women and men. That’s what gets the ball rolling.
To make the point that races differ with which most everyone knows is true and correct simply means that people of the same race procreate. Again, leave out the outliers. Right back to the foundation myth of Adam and Eve. The human race continues because of the normal procedure of human intercourse. Like people feel better among like minded people. People fall in love and procreate among individuals who are attracted to each other argue there is only one race, the human race is like arguing that there are no differences among the species. A border collie doesn’t fancy a baboon.
There is no such thing as a human breeder who is in charge of improving humans like a border collie breeder. When it comes to people choosing people it’s the individuals who do it. Sure there are forced marriages and bad ones but at the end of the day it’s men and women that do the job. All people like Darwin can really do is get things horribly wrong so some people go shooting off in various wrong directions. How simple is this stuff? really simple.
One can study different races and test different attributes and those results can be valid even though they provide information that can be used to rank races by race based attributes but it’s like counting your money.There’s a lot of different ways, count all the dimes, then all the nickels and so on or just add the value of the next coin to the total of the previous ones. The answer is always the same.
Same for human selection. It doesn’t depend on the group. It’s just two people who do it. It’s two at a time. That’s the way it works and that’s the only way it works. The rest is record analysis.
