America’s Freedom has dropped it into 58th place. Without the Second Amendment that limits  the government’s ability to take your weapons it would not make the top 60 most free countries.. Surprised? You should be outraged at the deception needed to claim America is a free country. Further proof is that Kamala Harris opposes the Second Amendment and is running for president.

Harris earned an “F” rating from the National Rifle Association for her consistent efforts supporting gun control per Wikipedia. While serving as district attorney in San Francisco, Harris, along with other district attorneys, filed an amicus brief in District of Columbia v. Heller, arguing that the Washington, D.C., gun law at issue did not violate the Second Amendment. In her second term as district attorney, she said that getting guns off the streets was a priority. That’s a favorite and deceptive phrase used by gun-grabbers. In nearby Philadelphia we checked the streets for guns over a 70 plus year period and found none. Same for Trenton, NJ and Wildwood, NJ. No guns found in the streets. No guns on the streets, so there are no guns to be taken off them.

In fact Tuvalu has a higher freedom score than America. Harris want’s to reduce America’s Freedom even more. Holy Guacamole.

During her run for Senate, she was endorsed by former U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords, shot in Tucson in 2011. She was also endorsed by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.[188]

In response to the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, Harris supported the call for more gun control. Believing that thoughts and prayers are inadequate answers to the shooting, she stated that “…we must also commit ourselves to action. Another moment of silence won’t suffice.” Neither will less freedom.

Some say freedom is a balance between freedom and control. It shouldn’t be. Control is the opposite of freedom.

America needs an increase of personal responsibility. We need mental health care professionals to report those who present as a danger to themselves and others. What we don’t need is to give up any of our civil rights in order for people like Harris to feel they did something.

Obviously anyone who would perpetrate a mass shooting has mental health issues. These things don’t happen in a vacuum. From the family to the health care professionals someone knew that the shooter should not have had firearms.

We also need to stop making criminals safer with gun free zones. It’s been shown time and again that these people look for a place where they can perpetrate their cowardly acts in a place that affords the least opportunity for the victims to effectively defend themselves.

Lastly we need to stop publicizing the names of the shooters. We never hear about the person who stopped this type of act, but we hear for weeks on end the name and every personal detail of the shooter. The media IMHO shares responsibility with the shooter as they become instant celebrities through the reporting done by the so called media. I would find it refreshing if we would stop blaming an inanimate object for society’s ills. I never hear about “baseball bat violence” or “hammer violence” or “motor vehicle violence”. You can be certain the firearm didn’t make the shooter commit a senseless act.
