The Trump administration discovered that the issue of Palestinian Refugees is the oldest, longest running refugee group in history. Wikipedia has a long list of refugees who fled from their countries and began living in another country. The Palestinian refugees refuse to go anywhere. There are fewer and fewer each year as many of the original Palestinian refugees have passed away but their descendents think they are still refugees, most likely because it highlights their displeasure with being removed from Mandatory Palestine when the state of Israel was created.

The number of original refugees “who meet UNRWA’s Palestine Refugee criteria” was 711,000 in 1950[1] of which approximately 30,000–50,000 were still alive in 2012. They have been kept alive and have been living as a welfare state and America and the UN have been paying to keep them alive. They seem to be content to continue for the rest of their lives as Palestinian Refugees and that they must be supported by other people because they refuse to move back to Israel and they reuse to go anywhere else.

There were 700,000 in 1948 and there are 50,000 today. they decrease by a bit more than 9,000 per year. That means in six years the 50,000 will be gone.

But they had children who insist they are Palestinian Refugees too. That’s a bit wrong since they were born after their parents became refugees so the children are no longer from Mandated Palestine.

This isn’t going well for them. Sooner or later there won’t be any of the Palestinian refugees around and the children are going to have to figure out what kind of refugees they are, exactly. .
