As long as races exist the differences in the races will exist. So long as America exists there will be those who hate America and the Americans.
References to past events can be removed from the history books but the events will still be part of the history.
Without slavery there’s no reason to fight racism because nothing happened that condemns racism.
In other words, the Civil Rights Movements need the Civil War and the Civil War depends on slavery. If there was no slavery no Civil War there’s no need to fight against racism. If slavery was America’s Original Sin and all references, all monuments, all statues and plaques, all words about slavery are removed, what is to remind us of the original sin? Nothing.
No reminders, no sin to atone for. No basis for programs to rectify the original sin. By removing the references; the statues, the monuments, the plaques, the words, the sin is gone. When there’s no proof slavery existed there’s no more original sin.
Slavery is gone just as if it never happened. No more Confederate monuments It’s gone. It’s expurgated from the records. No slavery so no need to atone for the sin of slavery because by eliminating all of the proof that slavery existed there’s no need to repair the damage.
Destructions of thing, minds and people are what happens when the single-minded rage of a cult effectively sways the crowds. Everything goes, as rage recognizes only the moment, only the mindless frenzy of destruction. When anger is the primary emotion, it can be assuaged only by greater and greater destruction. Anger acknowledges no end to the things to be angry about.
The fanaticism of the hate and his religious and political imitators past and present, are indicators of a cult mentality that is narrow, severe, and destructive. They are almost entirely characterized by anger and a sense of victimization cultivated by those favored classes deemed oppressed. Such cults, if successful, guarantee a society that is unfree and increasingly oppressive, for the suppression of history and speech inevitably turns to suppression of people whose views are different or who are just plain in the way of those who wish to control the levers of a given society. Such are the monument destroyers.
The idea is to cleanse America of white people because they are oppressive. The evidence is: slavery, — even though white people eliminated slavery in America 150 years ago.
But America will not become more pure if her collective memory is erased because she will no longer be able to speak intelligently. No one achieves salvation by targeting white people and calling them evil.
America will not become good by erasing ourhistory. America will not become pure when opposing voices are silenced and the opposition degraded to a social status of untouchables. America will not attain utopia by ensuring every institution and every person is saying and doing the same things. America will not become righteous by memorizing the new leftist commandments while seeing to it the monuments to slavery are destroyed. She will not be made better by making her people mute.
