You can walk into St. Peter’s Square and the Cathedral but that’s as far as you’re going to get.
The rest of the city, the remaining 99 percent, is surrounded by 40 foot high walls which President Trump might call “big, beautiful walls”.
The Vatican traces it’s existence back to Jesus and his apostle Peter who was the ancestor of every Pope. Any organization with that kind of history surely knows a thing or two about national security and border walls.
China has the biggest walls in the universe but the Vatican being a lot smaller with so many walls has more wall per square mile. Walls built with the pennies of the poor — behind which the Pope stays in touch . . . . with the elite. He has more power than the biggest tyrant. . . .
