Fox News host Eboni K. Williams called President Trump
“Racist” and condemned the president for his failure to explicitly condemn neo-Nazis and the KKK in his initial statements after the events in Charlottesville, Va. She was massivly wrong as Hannity proved by counting the many, many times he’s done exactly that.
Calling his initial statement regarding the incidents “ambiguous” and “irresponsible,” Williams explained that she had initially withheld judgment from Trump, but the events in Charlottesville forced her hand. She called him out for deciding that “[his] portion of the base that is absolutely racist is so significant, so valuable that [he] hesitates even in the face of blatant, flagrant hatred to risk turning them off and thereby crippling [his] political stronghold.”
Williams categorized his actions as an attempt to calm voters upset over the “perceived depreciation of the intrinsic value of whiteness in this country,” and offered an example of what a forceful condemnation would have sounded like.
She finished her statement by addressing Trump directly: “You are uniquely positioned to forcefully call out evil, anti-American domestic terrorists,” she said. “We certainly cannot change what we fail to acknowledge. I am asking you to address their anger, their misplaced fears. Let them know this is America, land of opportunity, and there is indeed enough to go around.”
The problem for Eboni is the president has been doing that for decades. He’s condemned the hate groups as long ago as the Larry King show. She’s simply not being truthful when she condemns the president for not doing what he’s been doing all along, as long ago as before Eboni was even born; – before she was conceived. Eboni’s 28. President Trump is 71. Fifthy three years seperate them. Eboni has insufficient life experience to adequately evaluate President Trump. In addition she comes at him in a spirit of hate. Not good.
A Harvard study that came out recently on news coverage, – all the big networks and the big media outlets, it skewed way against Trump. It skewed way to the left. If you look at all the surveys of reporters and who they tend to vote for politically and their political leanings, it skews to the left. Eboni is in good company with her friends who hate the president. If she believes that’s a way to get further in her career she’s mistaken.
