Paris is the most elegant city and these four leaders show off the city and their countries to the utmost advantages of the civilized world.
Unlike the souks, bazaars and cities of the lesser markets full of malevolence, malaria and malice, Paris is proof of the greatness of the human race.

The Eiffel Tower where the Trumps and the Macron’s dined is a symbol of the power of the human mind. They enjoyed a glittering Michelin-starred “dinner between friends” up the Eiffel Tower – beef with truffle sauce and warm strawberry and yogurt sorbet. The Eiffel Tower is at once strong and elegant. Standing on the ground in the center of the tower is to be in the center of civilization.
President Donald Trump on the other hand built himself a tower although at 664 feet high it is only 2/3 the height of the 984 foot Eiffel tower.
France has been a long and strong ally of America since the Revolutionary war. America rescued France during the First and Second World Wars. These are strong allies. Long standing friends and allies in the fight against Terrorism.
Unfortunately President Obama failed to support the french after the Bataclan theater terror attack and the Charlie Hebdo attacks by Terrorists.

Civilization has many components. France and America are two towering examples of the power of commerce, money and trade to make better lives for individuals but life has a spiritual component too. The spirit that drove America’s independence was due in great part to the individualism that appeared in Europe especially in Runnymede where Magna Carta burst on the world.

Thomas Jefferson was a towering man in colonial America where he single-handedly without books or aids of any kind wrote the Declaration of Independence. 

Gustev Eiffel, 113 years later in 1889 designed and built the Eiffel Tower where 128 years after it was built four towering figures; Melania, Brigitte, Emmanuel and Donald shared on the evening before Bastille Day a fantastic twilight dinner on the second level of the tower in celebration of the freedom of France. Magnificent or as the French say; Magnifique.
