Kelly was clearly out of his depth. Laurie said he was mediocre. He was awful with players, getting rid of Jeremy Maclin Lesean McCoy, Desean Jackson, Michael Vick and Nick Foles who were exceptional football players. With Jackson, an admittedly difficult personality but a great, great football player, Kelly couldn’t handle him. Same for McCoy. Nick Foles is a better quarterback than Sam Bradford although Bradford has lots of potential to be great. Foles was a known quantity. He played great football but Kelly couldn’t get that.

Jeffery Laurie did the right thing firing Kelly who turned out to be a poor manager of people and became even more of a liability with truly awful play calling.
