AI does not include a basis for a belief in Religion or God. But those are the very basis for the need of the Pope so the Pope is opposed to AI in the sense that he wants it to slow down so “rules” can be made about it. But Artificial Intelligence is computer programming and computer programming is done by people. The pope is not highly computer literate and most likely cannot program a computer. He can easily get information and advice about computers and programming but since he cannot program he cannot think like a programmer. So…But…The basis of an idea depends on the thought of a person. It is literally a thought that appears in a human brain. Since computers are not brains computers cannot have thoughts… But…
