Even more than the separation of Church and State or more precisely, the separation of religion and government, government should keep away from business. It got tied together by taxes. It got tied together by TARP. It gets involved supposedly to prevent influence of big companies so government invented Anti-Trust and Anti-Monopoly to give it more power over private matters which is business which is why it’s called “The Private Sector”. Government want’s to control everything but there are supposed to be limits on and over that control. Government intrudes into business all of the time. Unfortunately. Separation of Church; State; Business and Individual Action are supposed to prohibided from each other. Freedom is hard stuff. It’s hard to keep religion separate from government. The separation of religion from government is a myth. Individuals are supposed to be religious. Those who are not are punished.
