If a black woman and a black man have an affair the child will not be black if the story is “The Affair”. Insert any race you like in that statement and it will be true. If there is racism it will not be a matter of any race but it will be wrong regardless of whatever race it is promoting. The Affair suffers from “woke” lying. It turns a really good series about various human types into a pro-race, pro-sex set of lies about so much it’s hard to keep it all straight but hay,… straight is what it is not about. the Rashomon effect is the different stories from different observers. The truth is different than the Rashomon effect because there cannot be different versions of truth. Truth is what really happened compared to the version or versions of multiple observers. It’s why the Scientific Method provides truth while the Rashomon Effect simply provides different observations.
