That’s right! There are three (3) classes or types of crimes. Summary offences for which there is only a fine, misdemeanors for which there can be time in jail and felonies which usually mean a jail sentence. But Don Lemon isn’t a lawyer. He graduated Brooklyn College with a degree in broadcast journalism at the age of 30. Took him long enough but that’s the size of it.

Lemon promoted the talking point that the British Empire owes reparations for colonialism and that this idea should overshadow Queen Elizabeth’s death. Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t interviewing Jemele Hill.

Rather, Lemon conversed with British royals expert Hilary Fordwich. And what a mistake that was. Fordwich quickly embarrassed Lemon.

 He said: “The United States would be in better shape if women were running the national show.

Captured at Los Angeles International Airport, rushing along in a hoody, baseball cap and backpack, Lemon was responding to a question by a TMZ staffer, who asked if women are “safer bets” as political candidates because they might be less likely to have scandals such as blackface moments in their pasts.

“Women are the smartest of the sexes and they always have been,” Lemon told TMZ. “We would be a whole lot better off if women were running things – more things in this country – and I mean that, as he appeared to be walking quickly in an airport garage. During an imptompyu interview Lemon – questioned about the blackface scandals — told TMZ that people who are elected to public office must hold themselves to a higher set of standards.

“We hold political leaders and public servants to different standards than actors and comedians and just everyday folk,” Lemon said.

Reddit reported in this interview from 2023 that highlighted how terrible Don is at interviewing.

He spent a good 45 mins of the interview on DEI just asking Elon Musk the same question in different ways. He so desperately tried to get a gotcha moment. He wanted evidence from Elon but didn’t provide any evidence of his own. He tried to act like he was the victim when Elon got tired and annoyed of him (even though his time was out).

The Reddit reporter thought Don was cancelled on X because the interview wasn’t anything more than a witch hunt and wasn’t enjoyable to watch at all. Sure Elon has double standards and has a lot of flaws but Don just couldn’t get past DEI and wanting so badly to feel justified about his firing at CNN for a similar tirade.

The Reddit reporter was happy he was cancelled. They said: “w got 5 mins of substance and the rest was just circular logic. Elon as the interviewee isn’t responsible for trying to get a good interview. Don lemon sucks.

Don Lemon was perfectly playing the part of someone infected by the woke mind virus. Asking dumb questions, misinterpreting words, focusing on racism/politics instead of Musk’s life’s work, and trying his hardest to paint Musk as a racist, xenophobic, hypocritical nazi.

Counter-intuitively, I think this was actually a good interview, because there really are people stupid enough to think just like Don Lemon does, and those people kinda deserve to hear Musk’s responses to their stupidity. He didn’t answer everything perfectly, but he answered well enough to thoroughly distinguish himself from the strawman they think he is.

Don Lemon 30:05: “Do you think if you moderated yourself more, if there was better content moderation on the platform, that you wouldn’t have to answer these questions from reporters about the great replacement theory?”

Elon Musk: “I don’t have to answer these questions.”

Lemon: “Do you think you wouldn’t get in trouble, or you wouldn’t be criticized?”

Musk: “I don’t care. […] I don’t think people should care what the media thinks about them, they’re terrible judges of character.”

Lemon: “[…] You don’t think you have any responsibility to the truth or moderating the platform?”

Musk: “You’re conflating the truth with what the media [says].”

Notice how Lemon totally ignores Musk’s comment about “judge of character” and continues the conversation as if Elon doesn’t care about the “truth”. He asks an ambiguous question (“Do you think you wouldn’t get in trouble/criticized?”), Musk answers in a more precise way (“I don’t care, the media is terrible judge of character.”), then Lemon twists the answer as if it was for a different specific question (“So you don’t care about saying the truth?”). Musk immediately catches this sophistry.

Can you list any of the timestamps where the answers he gave were embarrassing?

Lemon 39:28: “You claim that DEI is killing people specifically you point to medicine you claim that DEI programs are putting people at risk.”

Musk: “What I was referring to there was that if we lower the standards for doctors […] then the probability of them making a mistake and killing someone is obviously going to be higher.”

Lemon 43:25: “But do you believe people are dying because the standards are being lowered?”
Musk: “I don’t think that is an issue but it could become an issue.”
Lemon: “Okay but the actual evidence shows the exact opposite. If you look at how minorities are treated by the medical system, most doctors now are White, and there are lots of mistakes in medicine. So you’re saying that White doctors have bad Medical Care?”
How the hell did Lemon jump to this conclusion? Is he completely illiterate in the English language or what the hell did Elon say that suggested anything about White doctors being bad at their job? How would you have answered these questions better than Musk? ****************

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, head of the Justice Department Civil Rights Division, wrote a message to Lemon on X on Sunday evening that the First Amendment does “not protect your pseudo journalism of disrupting a prayer service. You are on notice!”

In an interview with podcaster Benny Johnson, Dhillon said that Lemon “has come out and said he knew exactly what was going to happen inside that facility. He went into the facility and then he began ‘committing journalism,’ as if that’s sort of a shield from being a part, an embedded part of a criminal conspiracy. It isn’t.”

Lemon livestreamed the protest, during which he said that he “had no affiliation” to the protest organization. “I didn’t even know they were going to this church until we followed them. We were there chronicling protests.”

During the livestream inside the church, Lemon told viewers, “I’m not going to get in the middle of it, because I’m not here as an activist. I’m here as a journalist.”

Dhillon has said that the DOJ is investigating the demonstration as a potential violation of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, or FACE Act, which prohibits “injuring, intimidating, or interfering with, or attempting to injure, intimidate, or interfere” with people trying to access reproductive health services or a place of religious worship. She also cited the Ku Klux Klan Act, which passed during Reconstruction and was intended to enforce civil rights laws.

The protesters were demonstrating in the church on their belief that one of its officials worked for ICE.

Lemon also responded to a social media post from Nicki Minaj, who referred to him with an anti-gay slur and called for his arrest. “Stop talking about s— for which you know nothing about,” Lemon said.
