Life is harder outside of Africa.

Africa makes living easy with it’s temperate climate and the easy availability of food, first as vegetation then as various animals are used as food. When life is easy new inventions aren’t needed as the essentials for survival and for thriving are close at hand.

Life in a colder place such as Europe, China or Japan is harder so more thought and effort was needed to survive and thrive. Life in a place like Siberia where the growing season is short is much more difficult than life in Africa but some places are simply too harsh so they aren’t settled as much.

Africa is three times the size of the United States. It’s a huge place full of different types of people from the people of Egypt to the people of Liberia to the people of Old Rhodesia which has been re-named Zimbabwe. None of the people of Africa resemble Europeans, Chinese or American Indians. The terrain of Africa varies from the Sahara Desert to the open plains of the Serengeti to  the 19,341 foot high Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to beautiful Table Mountain in Capetown, Africa is a vast, beautiful, awesome place and a place that I visited many times.
