Jeff Bezos could have been married anywhere on earth or even in outer space but he chose Venice because Venice is a unique, spectacular place. Instead of main streets Venice has wide waterways and a unique type of long, narrow boat with a high prow and stern called a gondola. 
Unfortunately, the sewage system of Venice is the canal system o periodically an awful smell gets in the air.
