So: 457 to 7 is 65 to 1.. The number of Arabs only includes Africa and the Middle East. And to be sure there are Jews living in Arab countries but the ration of 65 to 1 needs to be kept in mind when discussing Israel, Gaza, Iran and the basis for the many disputes that involve Jews, Arabs or both. Out of the 8,200,000,000 people on the earth 456,521,000 are Arab. 8,300 / 457 or one out of every eighteen people are Arab so the Arabs are a rather significant part of the earth which might explain why news about what goes on in the Middle East and North Africa is of interest. But they are dwarfed by India or India plus China as the graphic below shows. 
There is trouble enough in the world but there is beauty and peace there too. Sometimes a reminder is needed to keep things in perspective. While the Middle East is important and large the world outside that is far larger and therefore far more important.
