Imagine what one of the big signs would do to the mind of our Democrat Committeewoman if the very small one that was not on her property at all, not even close, caused her to race over to our home, ring the bell and in an agitated state announce she could see the sign from her window. We were caught unaware but our response was traditional. We stayed quiet. Our daughter however diagnosed her as a victim of TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome. We agree… Too bad for her, and it will get far worse for her and her kind when Trump wins the presidency unless the Republicans fail to get out the vote. Look… We put up with Obama, Hillary and other assorted politicians with whom we disagreed but we never ever would think of knocking on someone’s door to complaign about a political sign. Don’t make the mistake of taking politics personal because a political result is always the sum of a huge number of other people. Recognize that you cannot have much effect because you only get one vote. That’s quite enough although you can always get more involved politically if you choose. Decades ago I found how to get on th ballot and boy did that trigger a bunch of resistence and hate from the same party I was a member of. Politics is not a sport. It’s a very serious part of life and even in America where politics is far more honest that in many shithole countries, it can be dangerous. It was good the “little sign” incident didn’t get more serious but frankly, we are on our guard since the confrontation was a legal “assault”.
