Unfortunately, Taylor seems to be more of a Leftie which bodes ill for “The Donald”. Entertainment is of course downstream of politics but since concert goers vote they intersect in each voter. The intersection is invisible. It’s in the mind of each individual and it’s a complex combination of each voters personal experience which like fingerprints means there are no two alike. People can love, hate or be indifferent to entertainment and/or politics which means Swifties can be on the Left and admire The Donald for his achievements. Republicans go to concerts and Democrats vote for Trump even though conventional wisdom keeps them very, very separate.
Taylor is an average singer but a way above average entertainer. She cannot sing opera but she doesn’t pretend she does nor does she have to. She’s a pop singer which means she sings like most of us. That’s fine as far as it goes.
