The assassain was Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania who used an AR-15 type of weapon and shot eight (8) .223 high powered bullets from about 200 to 300 yards from Donald Trump. Crooks was shot in the head and killed by a secret service person. No reason or motive has been discovered as yet. 
An absolutely massive crowd was at the Trump rally in Butler, PA, population about 13,000.
