VOYAGER… AN AMERICAN SPACECRAFT

Shot into the sky in 1977,  46+ years ago it is 14+ billion miles away from earth. It takes 22.5 hours for a signal to reach it and another 22.5 hours for a signal to reach back to earth. The spacecraft is travelling at 38,210 miles and hour but the speed limit in space is probably the speed of light which is about 670 million miles an hour and Voyager is travelling far slower than the speed of light so no speeding tickets.

This is a phenominal success story and it was and is being written by Americans. No other nation has been able or willing to do what America has done.
