Ordered the Clam Chowder but was served a tasty Chicken Noodle soup. Chicken Marsala arrived as some kind of indescribable sauce under which were OK pieces of chicken breast. Two kinds of mushrooms in evidence but their flavor had disappeared. Same for the reconsituted powder potatoes with a good brown sauce.
But Marsala sauce is supposed to have Woster sauce, Onions, Garlic, Beef Stock, Marsala or Port wine, and Butter in it but those flavors were entirely missing in the Warminster brown soup version. Left a larger tip than was warranted but smaller than if the food was good. We won’t cross off the place just yet because we’ve been there when it was better. Also, there is a nice appearance to the place as well as a convenient location so we’ll be back, …. but probably with a chip on our shoulders.
