A new type, (new to me) of clothes washer/dryer all in one washes then dries the clothes in the same machine. After washing the clothes and emptying the rinse water the machine heats up some air and blows it around the rotating drum. The warm air picks up moisture. The warm moist air is then sent over cold refrigerator coils and the moisture in the air condenses meaning the water comes out of the air. The air is heated and cooled again and again until the clothes are dry.
