With a heavy dose of contrived “anti-Racism”, this series moves well enough but in very, very predictable ways as women are shown to be better than men. Better for what? Not feminine but for masculine attributes. Ho-Hum and Hocum. Proving that men are stronger than women isn’t necessary but to entertain the idea that women are stronger than men requires contrivence and Lioness certainly does that. Zoe Soldana is mis-cast as the leader of some kind of department and is in charge of a superior operative who carries the series along. Lot of good photography with a sometimes confusing set of different sub-stories not necessary to the plot and theme.
