Atheism is increasing around the world. It is growing faster in some places and slower in others but the bet is that atheism will continue to grow. One important reason is the advancement of science which is the study of the natural world. Various topics such as math, chemistry, physics, & psychology can explain natural phenomena which before answered questions with reference to the mystical or supernatural. The so-called five proofs of God; Intelligent Creator; Order in the Universe; Cause and Effect; First Cause; Miracles as well as many other arguments all rest on a false Metaphysics. None of the arguments can survive on a correct Metaphysics. What is Metaphysics? It is a branch of philosophy that deals with the first principles of things. There are two basic or fundamental choices: Mystical or Reality. Science is based on the real world, the world that exists. Religion, according to professor John B. Ridpath is a set of mystical belief’s about the supernatural origins of and workings of reality and what that means for human life.
