The local Northampton Township government is building a reception hall at the fire house in Richboro… That’s not the way it’s supposed to work. Government should not be in business in a free country..There are 60 companies that provide reception venues near Richboro. There are literally hundreds, perhaps thousands in nearby Philadelphia.

Government telling anyone — such as an individual who needs a hall for a wedding reception — how to do business is not capitalism, as this violates that person’s rights.
Get the government out of the business of doing things like this, and companies will compete on merit, rather than for favors..
