Yes, if it’s been verified or it it’s verifiable. If not then it may be impossible to prove it’s correct. How can election data be verified? One way is to recount the votes and compare the total votes to the previous totals. If votes are counted by hand then they can be recounted by different people. If a machine is used to count the votes then the votes can be re-counted by a different machine and the totals compared. It the votes cannot be verified the election may be compromised.
