Rising Sun, 453 feet, 151 yards or 138 meters long, that’s one and a half football fields long. It is too long to fit inside a football stadium. It has 48,000 horsepower from four huge engines, 4 propellers, 32 mph, a dance hall, a full size gym, a basketball court, a wine cellar and a movie theater are among the yacht’s 82 rooms.
Unfortunately is takes 3455/32 or 108 hours, or 4 1/2 days to go from Manhattan to London which a jet can do in seven hours. The Concord flew at 1,248 miles an hour and went from JFK to heathrow in 2 hours 52 minutes, which is 37.7 times faster than Oprah’s yacht.
