U.S. Airspace Is Regulated So Ballons Need Permission To Be In U.S. Airspace… No Permission Can Get You Shot Down….

All of America’s airspace from the surface on up is regulated by the Federal Aviation Adminstration and flying above 18,000 feet requires a flight plan, special equipment including oxygen at least for the pilot and approval from the FAA before entering. The Chinese balloons were not approved. Shooting them down was mandatory.
