America Labor Unions began in 1795 when the Federal Society of Journeymen Cordwainers (shoemakers) in Philadelphia organized for higher pay. President Joe Biden may want to talk about this Union in his State of the Union Address on February 7, 2023. Unfortunately he will also have the chance to do the same thing next year. We hope Joe is doing OK but as for the rest of us, we will be better off beginning January 20, 2025 when President Trump is inaugurated and once again he can live in the White House.
