The Eagles are ranked No. 2 in defense and No. 3 in offense, and the 49ers were No. 1 in defense and No. 5 in offense. So the Eagles should score more points on offence but they should also give up more points on defense. That shows the teams are just about even but it also shows the Eagles have a very slight edge in the ability to score points and points are the way games are won. Jalen Hurts is the difference even though the teams have 50 players each. No one can win with a great defense if they have a poor offense and the 49ers have a slightly worse defense… BUT!!
The teams are so close in total ability that a prediction is almost impossible. Remember that if you bet on the Eagles, like I’m inclined to do.
