They tried to disrespect the Star Spangled Banner but had to back off because of the reaction of the fans who decided they could do without NFL if the NFL decided they could do without the National Anthem. The exxential question is: Is America A Racist Nation?? If so, how do you explain the success of Oprah? The election of a black man to be our president? The presence of mostly black people on every NFL team? The presence of so many black actors and actresses in TV commercials?
A nation of white racists wouldn’t elect and re-elect a black man as president. Those who assert that the U.S. is racist must, at a minimum, address this historical fact.
