In a horrible ‘who cares’ marketing mistake Disney announced on Monday July 6, 2020 that the allegedly ‘oppressed’ millionaire and former NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick signed a deal with The Walt Disney Company and ESPN to create “scripted and unscripted stories that deal with race, social injustice and the quest for equity,” which will include a series of his life. Race is a black advocate word for black people and ‘Social Injustice’ is the stealth code for anti-white issues that prejudice and harm white people.
Colin Kaepernick refuses to protest against the police at police stations which is where police against which he has an issue gather. Instead he has all but ruined professional football by turning the NFL and it’s football games into a race-based battle in which there can be no winners because race will always be with us. The correct way to handle race-based differences is to handle the actual differences which, however are always disguised behind ghost issues like equality and justice. Kaepernick is a professional agitator. He is not an NFL quarterback. Any team which uses him will elevate issues above sport and the purpose of sport is to compete, not to be political. There are times and places for various causes and it’s important to separate sport and advocacy. When advocacy is pushed into sports the sport suffers and the advocacy becomes inflammatory. In addition Kaepernick is nothing as a quarterback because his agitation has kept him from being a quarterback.
If the NFL decides to allow and promote advocacy, as it appears to be doing it needs to be certain about the effects of it’s advocacy. It seems unaware of the judgments of the fans. It may be however that it is aware and has decided to promote the ideas of people like Kaepernick because the NFL has enough money to weather the storms of protest against it’s protesters.
