She has far more money than she needs, she’s worth about $130 million and she’s going back to South Africa, .. her furniture is being packed, … apparently America doesn’t suit her even though she became an American citizen..
But she’ll realize South Africa is far too small for her. South Africa has changed since the days of Apartheid when she left. It’s one of the most beautiful places on earth but the politics make it a disaster for white people. Thereon was born and grew up in Benoni, a suburb, an extention, really, of Johannesburg. She can afford the round-the-clock security it takes to be safe there but it’s a risky place for the likes of Theron. She belongs in America now. A few years in South Africa may change her mind. It’s isolated from the first world. Even though Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Capetown are first class places, they are very dangerous for people like Charlize. Apartheid is over. White Afrikaners are outnumbered about 20 to 1. That’s no small amount of blacks to whites. Afrikaners no longer manage the country. Cyril Ramaphosa, no friend of white people who has said: “kill the boer”. Boer is a nickname for white Afrikaners. White-hating Ramaphosa is the president of South Africa.
In the neighboring country to South Africa, Zimbabwe, the past president Robert Mugabe who supported white genocide said: “we will not prosecute killers of white farmers.”
Wish her well. She has made herself very successful in terms of money but there’s an attraction back to her homeland. She’ll come to realize how far away South Africa is from the first world.. It a minimum 28 hour flight from Hollywood to Jo’burg, a place on the earth where it should be safe but it isn’t. The Economist Intelligence Unit rated South Africa as a “flawed democracy” in 2016. It has been argued that South Africa represents a dysfunctional state. To that, Charlize is returning. With her money she can leave pretty quick if things fall apart more than they have but is a far more dangerous place than America and it’s too far away for someone who has a taste of the first world. Prediction? 51% she will stay to 49% that she’ll be back… but maybe not.
