North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump met on June 29, 2019 in Panmunjom, the so-called truce village in North Korea, inside the border zone, where negotiations between South and North Korea have often taken place.

President Trump said: “Stepping across that line was a great honor”.  After his talks with Mr. Kim, the president flew by helicopter to address military personnel stationed in South Korea in Osan Air Base, south of Seoul. He told them stepping into North Korea had been “a historic moment and a very good moment”.

It was a major step in the direction of peace between North and South Korea for the first time since 1950 when the Korean War began. On June 25, 1950, the Korean War began when some 75,000 soldiers from the North Korean People’s Army poured across the 38th parallel, the boundary between the Soviet-backed Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the north and the pro-Western Republic of Korea to the south. President Trump is the best thing to happen to Korea, North and South and for the world that want’s to be at peace. No other national leader had the courage and the intelligence to recognize how simple it was except for President Trump who simply walked into North Korea. AMAZING!!!
