A gay man, Pete Buttigieg the mayor of South Bend, Indiana is a candidate for President. Should he be elected he will bring his unique set of values and morals to the highest law office on the planet. His chances are frankly so poor that he shouldn’t be included in polls about Democratic party challengers to president Trump. Buttigieg married another gay man named Chasten. Why are there gay people running for president? Probably because they can but they are so very different than straight people that they should disqualify themselves. They don’t know how very different than straight people they are. They cannot think like straight people. they come to different conclusions on many issues than straight people.
So far as morals go, they have a very different set of morals than straight people. It’s not so much that their values are wrong but that they are so very different. Take marriage where straight people are repulsed by marriages between LGBT people. The values which are at the base of morality cannot be resolved. The differences are that vast.
Can Pete Buttigieg run for president? The issue should be why would he when he knows and realizes he can never be elected to the presidency?
There are many different sets of conflicting moral values. Not all are right. Buttigieg may never come to understand that. Most voters do.
