If America wants to have smarter people they will have to import people who are smarter. Wikipedia lists America with an average IQ of 98. Thirty-two countries have higher IQ’s than America and 152 countries have IQ’s that are lower meaning there are 120 more dumb countries than smart countries.
With an average IQ of 98, half of America is smarter than that and the other half is dumber. America has 325 million people so half are smarter than the dumber half. that calculates to 162.5 million smarter and 162.5 million dumber.
Any immigrant with an IQ higher than 98 would make America smarter. Mexicans have an 88 IQ which is ten points lower than America. Hong Kong and Singapore have IQ’s ten points higher than America. No country has an average IQ higher than 108 but 152 countries have lower IQ’s than America. The problem is only 30 countries have IQ’s higher than America’s average of 98 but people who live in those 30 countries don’t usually want to immigrate to America. Far too many of the people in the 152 dumber countries want to immigrate. The long term consequence of that is easy to determine. More dumb immigrants will be admitted than smart immigrants so immigration will not make America smarter. It will make America dumber which will help the Democrats win more elections.
