First, president Trump is not against immigration or immigrants. He just want’s to control who gets into America because our freedoms make us vulnerable to bad actors. So his ideas have caused a sharp decline in the number of illegal immigrants trying to get into America. As a result, we are all safer.
Some people are annoyed that incoming immigrants are subject to religious testing but remember that the idea is to stop bad actors who for example want to engage in jihad. In addition the First Amendment applies to citizens, not to immigrants who are not in America.
No one else except each American citizen has the protection of their religion from government nor from the judgment that some religions have produced terrorists who have murdered and murdered and murdered in the name of their religion. No country, no culture no other citizenship, — has the protection from religion that the American’s have but that protection stops at the American borders and it doesn’t protect any enemy of America as the jihadist continue to call themselves. President Trump is correct to stop admitting enemies of America.
