After Gary Ridgways trial where he was convicted of murdering 49 women the father of Linda Rule, a sixteen year-old girl who was a victim of Gary Ridgway the Green River serial killer forgave Ridgway for murdering his daughter linda. The father betrayed his own daughter by forgiving her rapist/killer. Only his murdered daughter can forgive her murderer. Her father can’t do that. No one else can because no one else was the victim.
The murder of Linda Rule wasn’t done by anyone except Gary Ridgway. Linda Rule is the only one who can forgive Ridgway but she’s dead. He cannot be forgiven by anyone else.
You should be appalled when people not involved in a murder forgive the murderer. What’s wrong with your moral code that you accept that someone who wasn’t the victim speaks for the victim and forgives the murderer??
