Russia became just another small country when they lost control of the USSR. Putin must think he’s in charge of the world when he said he will shoot down anything flying in Syria. President trump and America has the same powers to use in Syria as Putin so if Putin is providing military support for Assad and Syria, Trump can oppose both Putin and Assad.
Putin better hope President Trump doesn’t start targeting Soviet assets in Ukraine like Putin is targeting American aircraft flying in, around and over Syria.
In fact, Putin should exit Ukraine. take his invading forces in Ukraine and Syria back to Moscow
