It’s not the word of God because words are spoken but the bible is written. In addition, anyone can write something and say someone told them what to write. Third, there is no second party attestation or testimony that verifies what is written. Fourth there is no written original. In fact books were not invented until after a language was invented as well as paper and an alphabet. There are carvings in stone that have survived thousands of years but there is no such thing as a carved bible. Fifth the bible is partly based on the supernatural and the supernatural has been proven to be un-provable so there’s a chance that some supernatural things are not true. Maybe they aren’t false which means at least parts of the bible aren’t true. They may be simple mistakes and they may be well-intentioned mistakes but intentions aren’t proof of beint true.
So.. Maybe the bible is true and maybe not. Maybe it’s only partly true but if only part of the bible is true than part of the bible is false which means, unfortunately that part of the bible is a lie. unfortunately is part of the bible is a lie than the bible cannot be claimed to be true which means we’ve been hoodwinked for a long time. So… Should people believe the bible? Maybe… Maybe some of it. Further,
