Slavery is on record in Ancient Egypt in the Book of Exodus as Moses acted as the instrument of God to end the enslavement of the Israelites in Egypt, part the Red Sea and lead the Jews to the promised land in Israel but the 1619 Project blames America for slavery… Nonsense.. America ended slavery by not approving it in the Declaration of Independence and when President Abraham Lincoln issued his Emancipation Proclamation.
