Yeah, … Well,…. turns out that a load of people had it up to here with Harry and Meghan. Her, more than him. She’s pretty in a sort of cute way,….   untalented and obnoxious.(1)

Harry get’s a bit of a pass because of his mother, Princess Diana but because he’s obviously smitten by and married to Meghan Markle he isn’t universally loved. Meghan however is quite another story. She disowned her father who raised her. She invited her completely unfamous mother but not her father from her wedding to Harry. During her teenage years, she worked at a local frozen-yogurt shop and a donut shop, and later as a nanny and waitress. She also volunteered at a soup kitchen in Skid Row, Los Angeles. In July 2020, she spoke in support of Black Lives Matter. Markle was reportedly worth about $5 million before she merged her finances with Prince Harry’s. She now has a net worth estimated at $60 million as of 2026.

Harry is English royalty while Meghan is maybe slightly better than a ‘bottom of the barrel’ California/American raised ‘actress’ which means a huge cultural difference. Meghan is female so Harry is attracted to her. She is the mother of their children, Archie and Lilibeth so Harry has at least two reasons to stick it out with her for awhile while their children grow up but if Queen Camilla is correct. … time will see the end of Harry and Meghan.

That’s because Camilla is supposedly telling people that she thinks Meghan Markle has done quite the job of brainwashing Prince Harry into believing that he is happy in his life in California. Markle and American film producer Trevor Engelson began dating in 2004. They were married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, on August 16, 2011. They separated in 2013 and were granted a divorce in 2014. Markle’s subsequent live-in relationship with Canadian celebrity chef and restaurateur Cory Vitiello ended in May 2016 after almost two years. She visibly supported Hillary for president and publically criticized Clinton’s opponent Donald Trump.   In 2017, she recommended the book Who Rules the World? by left-wing intellectual Noam Chomsky on her Instagram account.

For those who are more familiar with the Duke of Sussex, they know that he’s been terribly homesick for the UK and that he misses his family and friends and even the pub life he left behind on a daily basis. That’s why Prince Harry is doing whatever he can to get back to the UK but the only person who seems to be stopping him is his wife, Meghan. She’s already made it clear that she has no intentions of ever going back to the UK, let alone step foot on British soil again. Harry has to choose between sunny Southern California and England which has all of the attractions of life for a royal which are completely missing in America. It’s vastly different than England which is also a bit on the stodgy side compared to vibrant America. Personally, I pick America with all of our personal freedom’s which are sort of available in England which is a magnificient place to visit and live but would bet that Harry would prefer to live in England and visit America for months at a time. Either way, full time in England or full time in England, Harry can have a great life but Meghan has intellectual baggage that keeps her out of England. Turns out England really doesn’t want her and America which has loads of celibrities and famous people as well as our fundamental differences with our freedoms doesn’t really care about her. Meghan can never be popular in America or England and that’s the way it is.

Her past portrayals as a “foodie” are also questioned, with critics noting her cooking show showcased basic meals. 

  • Hypocrisy and Entitlement: She is criticized for publicly complaining about the pressures of royal life while enjoying immense privilege. Her $32 million taxpayer-funded wedding was called a “spectacle” despite being a choice she made. She is seen as hypocritical for advocating privacy while posing for paparazzi, and for criticizing the royal family while using their titles and connections for personal gain. 

  • Controversial Actions and Relationships: Allegations of a toxic work environment and bullying from former colleagues, including claims from staff and cast members, have damaged her reputation. Her treatment of family—such as lying about her father’s travel plans and excluding her extended Black family from her weddings—has drawn backlash. Her decision to leave the UK and pursue a career in the US, while still using royal titles, is viewed by some as disingenuous. 

  • Racial and Cultural Tensions: Some critics claim she weaponizes her biracial identity for sympathy, while others argue she fails to live up to expectations of racial representation. Her behavior in conservative countries like Nigeria—dressing in a revealing outfit—was seen as disrespectful. The British press, particularly, has been accused of racist and sexist coverage, but her actions are also seen as contributing to the narrative. 

  • Public Perception and Media Narrative: Her relationship with the media, especially her high-profile interviews with Oprah and her Netflix projects, has been met with skepticism. The cancellation of her Spotify show and poor reception of her Netflix ventures are cited as evidence of her lack of commercial or creative substance.

While many admire her advocacy for mental health and gender equality, her image as a self-promoting, attention-seeking figure who lacks authenticity and accountability continues to alienate a significant portion of the public.
