It’s a very big fountain pen but it feels and writes great. Previously I wrote about the SchonDSGN fountain pen being the best writing fountain pen that I have but I just found my Pelikan M1000 and it’s a better writing pen, … for me. Here’s a recent ad fro Ebay:

You may find it too big or that it writes with too wide of a line but I love it. I’m not giving up my SchonDSGN but I’ll be using my Pelikan a lot more. I also have a Pelikan 0.5mm pencil and that’s another great writing instrument. I really like my T-Kmatic L 0.5mm pencil a bit better that the Pelikan but I’m not giving up either one. I’ very fortunate to have a great collection of great writing pens and pencils with a load of favorites including many pens and pencils made by Cross. In fact the gold Cross pens and pencils are particular favorites.
