A global audience does not grasp that Harry isn’t still a part of the Windsor family business.

King Charles and Prince William may be thousands of miles away in Balmoral or Windsor, but in the American mind they are standing offstage as Harry delivers his punchlines.’

And because of that most American viewers correctly see a British prince insulting their freely elected ‘head of state’.
