They clung to the false idea that all men were created equal when a simple look would show that’s massively wrong. Their second great wrong was to use force to make everyone get treated the same. Individuals being not the same cannot be treated all the same. All must be treated with wisdom and understanding but many just don’t have what it takes to identify simple justice which is all that can be expected to exist among people who are so different individually. Start with fingerprints, a mostly uncontrovertable attribute. Not only are all different, no individual has two the same even though each has ten. If there is no unity among ten fingers, it cannot be expected among millions of people. It must not be attempted because of the disasterous, unjust consequences. Most people are good, some are evil. Some are strong, some smart, some creative, many not. Lincoln failed to grasp the great and tragic differences among large groups of similar people. Differences beg for different treatment and beg the question of just treatment because it is not always the same. Each must be judged but judgement is hate speech the world round. What is the solution? None. Some problems are insolvable elements of nature that should not be messed with. American Government is balanced by checks and balances of power. No such balance exists in general or in nature. No government can save the world. Neither can any individual. The conclusion is the futility of any attempt to save the world. It’s a massively bad idea to envision it. Unity is ephemeral. Diversity rules. Leave it alone.
