Aleysha has dyslexia. She was forced to attend class every day of the school year for 12 years but she cannot read. Dyslexics can be taught to read and many even read right side up and upside down.
In an eleven page lawsuit Aleysha Ortiz is asking the court to order The Hartford School Board to grant her $3 million because they failed to teach her to read after trying for 12 years. The lawsuit is for emotional distress and negligence but it’s because Aleysha cannot read after attending class for 12 years. This is a massive failure of something and some people that cry’s out for justice.
