Anti-Semitism is not in danger at all. It’s been around for several thousand years so the odds-on bet is that it will continue.. Why?

Why, in the face of the Holocaust does anti-Semitism continue? Growing up as a non-Jew in a mostly Jewish neighborhood offers no reason, no rationale for anti-Semitism. Early Jewish friends and a later Jewish employer in effect lead to a friendly attitude towards Jews. One phrase however does come to mind: hatred of the good for being good. Is that the basis for anti-Semitism? If so it defies reason. Hatred of the good is a fatal mistake. It leads to many wrong decisions and many wrong actions. Reason in fact shows that the good is necessary for survival. An adversion to the good is an adversion to survival and should be summarily rejected out of hand. Irrational in the extreme, worse than a simple dislike of the good or a slight rejection of the good, and extreme adversion, an actual hatred of the good is also morally wrong. Being morally wrong is worse than a simple mistake. Morals are principles and moral principles ahould be embraced as life-enhancing. So the premise remains: anti-Semitism is irrational but, unfortunately, here to stay,
