More specifically, why should America defend Israel? Also, why should Europe and the United Nations defend Israel? Your answer depends on your definitions of good, evil, right, wrong and your moral code. Hamas, Hezbollah and orher nations want to destroy Israel. America certainly has no responsibility to go to war over Israel but because of the nature of morality and it’s relation to a proper way of living the answer is important.
