Oppressive Government correctly describes Pennsylvania’s approach to prohibiting citizens from having alcoholic beverages delivered to their door.
It’s part of the Nanny State where people in government act as though the rest of the people cannot control themselves and would become raging alcoholics, forgetting that people can buy whisky and drink themselves silly even though the government prohibits the normal sale of alcohol and orders that only government stores can sell wine and whisky. Bars and restaurants can sell alcohol but not normal, commercial stores. Since government controls all alcohol it is responsible for all alcoholics and drunks. What a crappy situation.
